About Us

Olive Centre for Peace and Relief Aid Initiatives (Peace Cord Nigeria) began operations in 2018 in Jos, Plateau State, and later secured registration approval in 2023 from the Corporate Affairs Commission as an incorporated trustees organisation under registration number RC 6871738.

Since inception, the organisation has expanded across sixteen states in Nigeria, building community-led responses to conflict, displacement, exclusion, and livelihood insecurity. Peace Cord Nigeria believes that lasting peace is the baseline for any meaningful social development.

Peace Cord Nigeria responds to systemic crises in Nigeria by using community dialogue to reduce ethnic conflict, providing emergency relief to displaced populations, creating climate-resilient livelihoods, and equipping local leaders to strengthen governance.
